Woodhouse (EYFS)

Our class name comes from Wentworth Woodhouse, one of the largest stately homes in the UK with over 300 rooms and a grand façade longer than Buckingham Palace. It was expanded in the 18th century by the Marquess of Rockingham and later linked to the influential Fitzwilliam family, who helped shape the local area.

At our school, we use Class Dojo as a key platform to share children’s learning and experiences with parents and carers. Through Class Dojo, families receive regular updates, photographs, and examples of classroom activities, helping them stay closely connected to what their child is learning and achieving in school. This ongoing communication provides parents and carers with a rich insight into the curriculum, classroom routines, and pupils’ personal progress, supporting a strong partnership between home and school.
